HMK Update > Week of 09.24

Greetings, all! After a GREAT day on Saturday, we're back at it again this week as we continue to add to the final production of "The Cathedral!" While it is taking some extra time to put such a complex show on the field, the staff (and judging community!) is confident that this is going to be one of the most effective programs on the field this season!

The Rundown

Tuesday > Sectionals (Winds 3:10-5:30 PM, Percussion and Guard 6-9 PM)

Wednesday > Ensemble Rehearsal (3:10-5:30 PM)

Thursday > Ensemble Rehearsal (6:00-9:00 PM)

Friday > Football @ McCaskey

Rehearse: 3:30-4:30 PM

Load Equipment: 4:30 PM

Eat/Dress: 4:30-5:45 PM***

Load Buses: 5:45 PM

Arrive: 6:15 PM

Perform: HALFTIME

McCaskey Performs: Post-Game

***As a convenience to families, students may order 6" subs from Hot-Z pizza at a discounted rate of $3 each (normally $4.75) by completing this week's "Friday Dinner Order Form" and returning it by Thursday morning before the start of school. Italian, American, Ham and Cheese, and Turkey are each available. Subs will be picked up following our rehearsal block for immediate consumption! Ready for Pick-up: 10:30 PM (tentative)

Other Notes:

Opening Knight Materials > Please pick up any Opening Knight materials that you may have left at school (particularly coolers!) as soon as possible

Calendar Adjustment > Wednesday, 10.10 Ensemble Rehearsal 6-9 in Stadium

This is due to a soccer conflict in the stadium. Rehearsal on Thursday, 10.11 will be held after school until 5:30

Calendar Adjustment > Wednesday, 10.24 No Ensemble Rehearsal

There will be no ensemble rehearsal on Wednesday due to the Fall Showcase Concert

Calendar Adjustment > 10.27 USBands @ Cedar Cliff (not Manheim Central) As our seedings at National Championships will depend on our highest score in USBands as of this date, we need to make sure that we have a score so we don't perform first in the show on November 10th!
