Hey gang! I hope that everyone is staying cool during this crazy weather that we've been having! Here's hoping that the heat stays away in late August!

This Week > There is NO ENSEMBLE REHEARSAL on Wednesday, 07.25! Use the time off to improve on the basic skills that you've been introduced to as well as "The Keepers" (an updated MP3 that includes FULL PERCUSSION PARTS is available at MrGumble.hempfieldsd.org!) Guard and Percussion sectionals will go on as usual this evening.

Wednesday, 08.01 - NO ENSEMBLE REHEARSAL (DCI Show in West Chester...GO IF YOU ARE ABLE! If you are unfamiliar with Drum Corps International (DCI), check out some YouTube videos and www.dci.org! I believe that good seats for the West Chester show are still available!

*On Tuesday, Hempfield will be hosting the 10-time DCI World Champion (and reigning Gold Medalist) Cadets! The corps will be rehearsing throughout the day at Hempfield Stadium - please find some time to drop in and check out how the best marching unit in the WORLD goes about their business!

We will begin rehearsal promptly at 6 PM in the band room. At some point in the evening, we will head to the stadium as a group for a performance by The Cadets! ALL PARENTS AND STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND! Pick-up will be at the stadium following the performance.
