Greetings, friends!

Weekend Recap

After not even seeing a football field since the previous Friday night performance, HMK put on a gutsy (and, in many ways, improved) performance at home vs. Lancaster Catholic on Friday night. On Saturday, HMK spent the afternoon setting drill pages at a record pace (20 in four hours...unheard of!) in an effort to make up for the week's rainouts. All in all, the group is poised for a GREAT week of rehearsal and an impressive Opening Knight performance!

The Week Ahead

Tuesday > Sectionals

Winds - 3:05-5:15 (Field 2)

Guard and Percussion - 6:00-9:00 (Stadium)

Wednesday > Ensemble Rehearsal - 3:05-5:15 (Field 2)

*LAST DAY TO PRE-ORDER TICKETS FOR OPENING KNIGHT!

Thursday > Ensemble Rehearsal - 6:00-9:00 (Stadium)

Friday > Football @ Central York HS*

Report - 4:00 PM (Students may stay after school)

Load - 5:15 PM

Arrive - 6:30 PM

Perform - POSTGAME

Return - 10:30 PM

*SPECIAL HALFTIME PERFORMANCE BY THE PENN STATE BLUE BAND!!!!

Saturday > OPENING KNIGHT

*PRESALE TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE UNTIL WEDNESDAY. The pre-sale form is attached.

Set-up Crew - anyone who is available would be appreciated to assist with pre-show setup. Please contact Mike Doughton @ mdoughton@yahoo.com

Report - TBA (will be based on progress throughout the week)

Rehearse until 2:00 PM

Students will be dismissed to eat at the concession stands (bring $$$ or pack) and report to their Job Assignments:

Seniors/Juniors - Job Sign-up Sheet is available on the band room door

Freshman/Sophomores will be the greatest audience ever during early performances (away stands)

Warm-up - 7:15 PM

Perform - 9:15 PM

Awards - 9:45 PM
