HMK eNews > Columbus Day Edition! (Week of 10.08)

Post date: Oct 8, 2012 6:34:40 PM

Happy Columbus Day! While it is probably a misnomer to say that we've "finished the show" since we are ALWAYS adding nuances to generate more and more effect, we HAVE indeed finished putting drill for "The Cathedral" on the field!

This is one of the most exciting times of the year for everyone involved in our program. It is easy to notice that we have been adding to the length of the show each week, but adding drill means that the rest of the show (ie the first seven minutes!) tends to go neglected for long periods of time. Finishing the drill means that we can now spend all of our energy on improving our product and adding the "crowd pleasers" to the program that really connect with our audience!

*Come up with two specific goals for this week and write them in the back of your dot book. Make sure that both goals are SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound) and that you can begin working on these goals at tomorrow's sectional. While there may not be any external fanfare when you've reached those goals, the sense of accomplishment that you feel when you've checked them off of your list is addicting!

If all of us follow through with the exercise, think about how GREAT we can be!!!!!

Work hard. Strive for excellence. GREAT things happen!
