2011 Leadership Training Sessions Announced

Did anybody other than your “Section Leader” have an impact on your development? Chances are, there have been a number of individuals, with or without title, who have played a role in shaping your experience.

A person in the formal role of a leader may not possess leadership skills nor be capable of leading! Leadership is essentially related to a person’s skills, abilities, and degree of influence. Many of our best student leaders have been those who have not held a title!

Attending any of our Spring Leadership Workshops is a surefire way to develop your innate leadership abilities in a safe, peer-to-peer environment. There is something at each Workshop for every member.

Whether you aspire to be a Section Leader or simply want to influence the experience of others to make the band the best it can be, try to make it to as many Workshops as possible.

Now...put your best foot forward...step up...and LEAD!!!!!
