While the school year is quickly drawing to a close, the HHS Concert Bands are working harder than ever to prepare for two important end-of-year performances!

> On Thursday, May 10th, the Symphonic Band will travel to Daniel Boone High School to participate in a large-ensemble adjudication for the second year in a row! The band will perform three selections in front of a panel of judges who will score and rate the group based on pre-determined criteria. This year's judges will be Dr. Andrew Yozviak (West Chester University), Dr. Russell McCutcheon (Gettysburg College), and Dr. Matthew Brunner (Temple University). The Symphonic Band will be performing Chester Overture (Schuman), Amazing Grace (Ticheli), and Machu Picchu (Yagisawa)

> On Thursday, May 24th, Hempfield High School will host it's annual Fine Arts Festival from 6-9 PM. The evening is set to be a celebration of all art forms with visual art exhibits throughout the school. The event culminates with a 7:45 Concert performed by the Hempfield Concert and Symphonic Bands! If you enjoy listening to great music performed at an extremely high level than you DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS PERFORMANCE!
