Hempfield Students Impressive at LLMEA County Band Concert

The festival season got underway with a bang this past Saturday as twenty-seven Hempfield band members participated in the 2012 LLMEA County Band South Concert Band Festival at Solanco High School in Quarryville, PA. Students spent the day rehearsing with guest conductors (Dr. Andrew Yozviak from West Chester University and James Ackerman from Pequea Valley HS) before performing an evening concert for a packed house in the Solanco auditorium. Congratulations to all of the participating students on a great performance!
