    • Folders (Check ALL Music…don’t be the one that leaves a chart behind!) - ALL MUSIC IN RED FOLDER BOX!!!!
    • Mutes
    • A Piece of Rhythm Section
      • Red Folder Box (it’s Red, Like Your Folder!) - Van
      • Cymbal Hardware and Throne in Rolling Case (“Big Box” - Adam)
      • Snare Case (w/ Snare) - Adam
      • Cymbal Bag (w/ Cymbals inside!) - Noah
      • Tom and Accessory Box (“Dirty Box”) - Ethan
      • Electronics (“Clean Box” - Bass Amp Adapter, Patch Cable, Snake, Power Strip) - BDo (give bone to Horsey)
      • Low Tom - Alex
      • Bass Drum - Colin (give guitar to Hannah)
      • Bass Amp - Michael (give bass to Grace)
  • Load Bus @ 5:00 PM

Arrival (est. 6:30)

  • Unload Rhythm Gear FIRST and take to the hallway behind the auditorium (Alex, lead the way!)
  • Rhythm section - remain in hallway and assemble so the equipment is ready for warm-up (there will be a drum kit in the warm-up room, so the kit will move directly to the stage)
  • Wind Players - follow Kennedy to Room 227
  • Eat, Drink, and Be Merry!

Classroom @ 8:30

  • Warm-up Individually (5 minutes)
  • Section Tuning (5 minutes)
  • Excerpts (10 minutes - Leads…think about these on the bus ride so you are prepared!)
    • Brass > DON’T WASTE CHOPS! Sing/Sizzle/Get In The Zone!)
  • Leave for Warm-up @ 8:50

Warm-up Room @ 8:55

  • Reverse show order (Huesos, Waiting, Rhythm)
  • Starts/Transitions/Stops
  • Get Pumped!

Stage @ 9:20

  • Slay!

After-Show

  • Take gear back to classroom
  • Return to auditorium area to help rhythm section
  • LOAD ALL GEAR ON BUSES FOR EASY EXIT! (9:45-10:00)
  • Warwick @ 10:05…cheer on the locals!

Sit Together for Host Band @ 10:55

  • Be a GREAT Audience Member! Relax, learn, and enjoy!

Awards @ 11:15

  • Cheer for everyone, cheer LOUDEST for Hempfield!
  • We do adjudicated festivals to receive feedback and expose ourselves to what else is out there. Whether we receive the highest rating (Superior) or the lowest rating (Very Good), we will ultimately get better by looking at the ratings, listening to the comments, and using the feedback to improve as an ensemble. That is the point!
